Kinect -- Is This Going To Be? The End Of The Wii?
The famous Wii has had a good run, however its future's not looking so good anymore as a result of Microsoft's brand new piece of hardware, Kinect. Nintendo's once innovative entertainment system is now looking very aged.
When the Wii arrived it was revolutionary and took the video gaming universe by storm. It brought video gaming to the wider public thanks to its controller which mimics the player's actions and really enabled just about anybody to play video games. The Nintendo wii appealed to so many because of its simple controls, but the Kinect does not have any controls at all so the appeal will be even greater! Additionally, it has voice identification which means that you can issue commands just with your voice. Couple that with the fact that it uses the Xbox 360 components which is capable of producing Hi-def graphics that is light years beyond what the Wii is capable of!
For the foreseeable future, it appears as though Kinect is going to take over from the Nintendo wii. It will be interesting to see exactly what Sony and Nintendo will come up with next!
