You Can Now Actually Bead

Anyone can learn how to bead. It is as simple as threading something long and thing through something with a hole in it. Most probably started hundreds of years ago by our very primitive predecessors.

Can't you just find it?

Adult males of the tribe are out hunting and one man lands the killing blow to a powerful lion. He takes a bone, one definitely with a hole in it, possible from a spear tip, and threads it onto a vine and begins to put on it in order to mark his prowess. Doesn't take long to start threading more and more. Man with the maximum bones is the best hunter and optimal mate.

Have we changed such a lot in all this period?

Beading at the present time is a lot less messy. And if you want to learn some fun patterns, one of the simplest places to go is online. Learning how to bead is something you don't require a master for. The majority of people are self taught as it is. And they will take what they know, and put it on line for others to try out. You can learn that pattern, and then create upon it by yourself, making something totally new.

My personal favorite part about beading is making the design itself. It is that exploration, that I find enticing. Actually threading a bunch of beads on a string can get a bit monotonous. So, if you begin using multiple strings and building strands of patterns, now that is challenging. But I wouldn't advise it for a beginner.

Beading is a fairly cheap pastime. And it is a fantastic activity to do with your kids. You can all learn how to bead together. Make a family activity out of it. Most stores sell simple beading kits. Most of the large book store chains actually sell books, along with all the components you need to get started.

No matter your age or even skill level there is beading out there that you can learn and enjoy. Therefore get to it, have some fun, and make something beautiful.
